I have two sites running, both using SIP trunks. On the first site there are no issues.
On the second site (my local office) agents that make calls are stating that the people they are calling are saying that the volume on the call is very low, at times the call sounds like 'we are under water' or ' sounds like you are calling from another country'. I have looked at the SIP trunks, no issues. I have no errors in my Shoretel Server. I am at my wits end in finding a solution to this issue. Has anyone run across this? If so what was the solution? |

system handset, speaker phone and headset volume are set by the custom.txt file in the appropriate phone load. I generally start out by cutting these values in half and seeing what people then say. The issue is they are system files and will effect all phones. On some trunk groups you cal also adjust the Transmit and Receive gain, Check ShoreTel site for custom trunk audio settings.
