The integration between ShoreTel and ACT and Goldmind as well as a raft of other popular applications as it relates to outbound dialing is very easy. Generally, these applications have a configuration option that enables you to select the TAPI line that you want to use for dialing. If you look in Windows Control Panel on your computer, under Phone/Modem, then select the Advanced option; you will see that the ShoreTel Remote Tapi Service provider is exposed. You can select this line from within an application like Goldmine to enable "click to call". Inbound screen pop, however, are another thing altogether.

The ShoreTel TAPI driver does not show up in the Goldmine dialer application. In the newer versions, they have a SIP phone option, which I was able to get working on our system. The only problem is that if the SIP softphone from Goldmine causes issues with the system it is not supported by ShoreTel.
What you will need is a piece of client middle ware that will create the Microsoft TAPI link in Goldmine and then you can utlize the ShoreTel driver to connect via TAPI.
