Hi
I need help with doing a Block list/Method for annoying callers to an ECC I am trying to do so by CCS but I can’t find the Caller ID I Used Graphical Call Control Script Administration and I us an SQL statement Using these CF's '% Caller ID %' '%ANI%' if you can help me I will discuss in detail also I can't prevent "Caller ID Blocked" or "Out of area/Unknown" Or "Unknown Caller ID" calls from reaching to our agents I don’t now there is something missing also I need to do a customized button for all agent's, so they can use it when they deal with annoying callers so agent hit the button and a script runs and check if the caller ID exist in a table then increase a variable for times he call and other as a timer to block him for a day for example and if it does not exist it should be added Beside the ability to check this table before the call reaches the Agent. this problem is irritating us and is Unbearable we can't work by this way the percent of annoying call's are more than 30%. It’s unbelievable. I will be thankful for any help even on the first step to solve this issue. |

ShoreTel in the last couple monthst has release a product called "ShoreTel Nuisance Call Handler". Here us a brief discription.
When a valid call presents the caller ID is retrieved. If the caller ID is empty or blocked then the call is immediately blind transferred from the user's phone to a preconfigured phone number. If the caller ID is set then it is compared to a list of blocked caller IDs and if it is in the list, the caller is immediately disconnected. Only calls which present with caller ID and whose caller ID isn't on the blocked list continue to ring at the user's phone. In addition to the service, a separate configuration program packaged as a standard Windows desktop application is also installed and available. This must be run directly on the server. It allows easy modification of the blocked caller ID list as well the extension to transfer callers to who present without caller ID. It also allows viewing the services log file and configuring some of the logging options. Finally it allows stopping and starting the service. |
